In case you haven’t heard.. Lynn Colliar is now doing some investigative reporting for the evening news..so Global TV looked far and wide for another host. Well the news director didn’t have to look that far since former weekend morning news host is now co-hosting with Steve Darling every weekday morning from 5:30am-9:30am.

Here’s what Sophie thought after her first day with Steve, Kristi (who was in for Mark) and I.

Ok… I was a bit nervous while putting on makeup this morning since we just had our first Morning News in HD. Wikipedia states, “HD has one or two million pixels per frame, roughly five times that of SD”. Does that mean that the pimples on my face are five times clearer?!?!??!?! Yikes!

But in all honestly – I guess we just have to be more careful now with loose threads, wrinkles in our clothing, hair in our faces, etc. Before things like that probably were not as noticible, and now its a whole new ball game.

We also had new graphics introduced this morning… our ticker has changed and our clock has even moved! In fact Steve and I were a bit confused this morning when he throwing to me because we didn’t know where our on-screen clock went!

By the way… ONE WEEK TODAY…NEW STUDIO!!!
