On the weekend, Sophie and I emceed “Dancing with Our Stars”, an event that was put on to raise money for Crossroads Hospice in the Tri Cities area… Steve was a contestant, and there’s really not much more to say because its much better for you to just see it.

Some of my colleagues and I were lucky enough to be invited to hang out at the Vancouver Aquarium for a day!!! It was so cool to be up close and personal with some beautiful creatures. If I had to be completely honest, I was never fully convinced about supporting animals in captivity, but after yesterday’s experience and after talking with a number of animal experts at the aquarium and visiting the research centre, I think there is a place in the world for these creatures at the aquarium because of the educational benefits humans can get from the animals. The staff care for the these animals as if they are family and the information that we get from research at the aquarium is priceless. It really is amazing how animals and humans can interact together and depend on each other for companionship.
