Shoo, Fly!

On Sunday we had a guest host… well kinda. When Mr. Fly was hosting, it was likely the worst 2 minutes of TV ever… anyways he has been buzzing around our news set for a couple weeks… I think he probably just wants to be on TV and show off to his buddies. There is a good ending to this story… he didn’t get hurt!!!! During the break we were able to capture the fly and release him back outside in our courtyard…

Taking it one step at a time…

We’ve been trying to convince Mark to climb up 48-storeys in full firefighting gear next month, but he just won’t budge… in fact he said he will wear his skimpiest shirt (gulp!) just so he doesn’t have to carry any extra weight… But don’t worry we will continue to work on him because it is all for a good cause! All proceeds raised will go to help raise funds in support of lung health and air quality research, education, and lung patient support programs across the province.

The 10th Annual Stairclimb for Clean Air will be held at the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre Hotel on Sunday, February 27th, 2011. Want to come with us? You can do it too…Get more information here. PS Chris Gailus is a very strict trainer!!

New Year’s Resolutions? Anyone?

2011? I’m not used to saying that yet…let alone believe that its already the new year. And that means that its also time to start thinking about some resolutions! Let’s face it, we are all not perfect…and I know I have lots to improve on. Some things that I’m working on this year:

  • try something new, like skydiving
  • be a better soccer player, i need to work on my shots
  • train my rescue dog to be a lot less reactive
  • eating less chocolate
  • attempt to speak slower
  • get more sleep

Mark and Sophie also had a few things on their resolutions list… Unfortunately Steve wasn’t at work the day Peter and I filmed this but we will maybe try and ambush him later.
