Kristi is hoping for a surprise when she gives birth in July. But… according to some of the other ladies in our newsroom you can determine the sex of the baby using a piece of string and a ring. No one could find any thread in the newsroom so Kristi actually pulled out a piece of my hair as a replacement…. and well did it work? Lynn already knows that she is having a girl, and the ring did exactly what it should do… watch the video for yourself and would love to hear what you think…

The title says it all… it was a very exciting day on the Global BC Morning News. Sophie had a lesson on Scotch, and this was after Trevor Linden visited to our studio the other day (hence the Club 16 shirt). We were hoping Trevor would stay for a drink but unfortunately.. as you can imagine he is a very busy guy and it was all up to Sophie to test out her tastebuds.

Apparently if you can walk you can do salsa… so… some of the hosts of the morning news signed up to try it iout. (Mark and I however have two left feet so didn’t take part). Oh and you have to watch Sophie get dipped at the end.
