Chris Gailus PUMPS it UP!!!!!

The “winner over dinner” is also a winner in the gym. I know its hard to see those muscles underneath the suit that he wears every night on the 6 o’clock news on Global BC TV, but I have proof that they are there! Chris Gailus shares with us what keeps him in tip top shape with his five favourite exercises.

Five of my favourite exercises

People always say, “You are so lucky because you are off work at 1pm everyday….” Yes.. you’re right I love getting off early but I also hate getting up at 3:30am. And just because I get off at 1pm doesn’t mean I have all the time in the world to exercise… so I have developed some quick routines that I do at home and this is one of them. Usually I take my dogs out for a run after work, but to work on my legs I have learned a few awesome exercises that require no equipment, but just a bit of space. I bet you can do these exercises in your own living room. For the video though, I used the gym at work to demonstrate… And stay tuned… there is more to come and next week, we will work out with Global BC’s Chris Gailus and check out some of his favorite routines but for now here’s my top exercises that you can do in the comfort of your own home!

Really good (and inexpensive) Indian food…

Hurray for sunshine – so we took the convertible to North Vancouver and went for a belated mother’s day lunch at Palki’s Restaurant in North Vancouver…. and if you are looking for something good, cheap, and classy – this is the best spot.

For 12 bucks you get an amazing buffet that is perfect for both meat and non-meat eaters. And the server is always on fire! He has the best personality and is always on top of everything. And don’t forget to try the home made mango ice cream to finish off your meal…I’m salivating now just thinking about it.
